Cleveland Industrial Retention Initiative

To a great degree, WIRE-Net’s success and influence lies in its much-applauded grass-roots connection to the manufacturing businesses that populate the industrial streets of northeast Ohio. 

The Cleveland Industrial Retention Initiative (CIRI) is an integral part of Mayor Frank Jackson's plan to link manufacturing businesses to valuable community resources that can help manufacturers improve operations and maintain profitability. Through its collaboration with WIRE-Net, CIRI continues its mission to raise industry awareness of available resources to stimulate business and neighborhood investment, foster job creation, and make Cleveland more 'user friendly.'

WIRE-Net's Annual Meeting presented by PNC

Can American Manufacturing Thrive Again? Do We Need a National Manufacturing Strategy? Come to WIRE-Net's Annual Meeting to get the answers from a man who literally wrote the books on these topics? WIRE-Net's Board of Directors has invited Robert (Rob) Atkinson, founder and president of the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation, out of Washington, DC, to address this year's Annual Meeting because of his work promoting U.S. based manufacturing, organizing the American Manufacturing Charter, which is supported by a coalition of labor, business, and economic policy leaders and organizations. more>
