Vice President, Resource Development and Communications

The position will build relationships with potential funders in support of a $3 million budget. In addition, the position is responsible for directing branding, marketing and communications to support WIRE-Net’s program goals, and will be the liaison to committees of the Board.

Requirements
  • BA required, Masters preferred in business or non-profit management, or related field (marketing, communications, etc).
  • 10 years progressively responsible experience in non-profit management with significant experience in resource development, major donor relations and communications and marketing.
  • Marketing experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent budgeting and planning skills; ability to effectively manage multiple projects.
  • 5 years experience managing staff and working with volunteers.
  • Familiar with aspects of Risk Management that are relevant to a small, but growing non-profit.
  • Must be a highly effective communicator, detail oriented, able to think strategically and work effectively with teams.
  • Some travel required
