Initiatives

While providing Services To Manufacturers is at the heart of our work, it is the Initiatives On Behalf Of Manufacturers that we perform, which take our collective efforts to a high level of possibility.

  • the Great Lakes Wind Network has, in a short time, developed amazing supply chain opportunities for the area. It also positions the region as a center of capability for this nascent industry.
  • CIRI (the Cleveland Industrial Retention Initiative) is a successful grass roots approach to removing barriers and presenting possibilities to businesses operating in our neighborhoods.
  • Speak with one voice, and be heard in the highest halls of power.  Our Policy and Advocacy initiatives do just that, taking your message to Columbus and Washington
  • Future Workforce is investing in the workers of tomorrow.  Initiatives at the high school level are attracting clever and hard-working youth to careers in our industry.
  • we could not exist without the web of Infrastructure that supports our individual operations.  With limited
    resources, prioritization is the key.
  • with eyes focused firmly ahead, MIND (Manufacturing Innovation for the Next Decade) groups meet regularly to share best practices and learn from each other.

Mission ReminderIt is through the connections we make, the engagement we foster, and the synergies we create that possibilities arise for healthy and prosperous communities.  WIRE-Net is here to be a catalyst for economic growth in the region.
