Collaborators & Partners

We owe our strength and success to people and organizations who share our passion for manufacturing and who believe in our mission.

Members, especially, are close to us. They have chosen to engage with WIRE-Net in a specific way, and for that, they are constantly “top of mind” by our Board and Staff. We listen to them, we connect them to opportunity, and we help them surmount obstacles. They, in turn, constantly give back, whenever we ask.

We are also fortunate to have mutually-beneficial relationships with all manner of other supporters, including:

  • community-based organizations
  • trade associations
  • chambers of commerce
  • nonprofits
  • educational institutions, both secondary schools and higher education
  • program supporters

  Mission Reminder It is through a rich array of collaborations and partnerships that we can hope to make WIRE-Net’s vision of a “region where manufacturing matters” a reality. Engaging others, and building on the synergy this creates, makes us capable of doing more with less. WIRE-Net is here to engage, inform and respond.

Members of WIRE-Net receive a number of valuable benefits, including access to all the resources and services provided by the other 230 firms that are working to strengthen manufacturing, to create healthy communities and fuel economic growth.

In addition to our member companies WIRE-Net also connects our leaders to and collaborates with a variety of community, trade, government, and educational organizations that strengthen our coalition because they are committed to our mission and our work. Organizations include the following:

  • Community-based organizations such as area community development corporations;
  • Trade associations such as NTMA, PMA, and OMA, SME, FMA, and NAM;
  • Chambers of commerce, such as Greater Cleveland Partnership, Richland County Chamber of Commerce;
  • City, state and federal entities, including the city of Cleveland, Ohio Department of Development, and government officials
  • Non-profits who support manufacturers, such as MAGNET  and TechSolve, Inc., of Cincinnati (Hamilton County) Ohio’s Manufacturing Extension Partnerships (MEP), Ohio's Edison Centers (Edison Materials Technology Center and Edison Welding Institute)
  • Educational partners including Max S. Hayes Career and Technical High School in collaboration with the Technology, Engineering, and Advanced Manufacturing Academy (T.E.A.M Academy);
