WIRE-Net works with Cleveland area schools to prepare students for entry-level positions in the machining industry. Classes are offered at a variety of area institutions.  Please call for the latest information.

Most of these facilities provide students with training on:

• Manual lathes and mills

• Welding

• CNC machining

• CAD

• Grinders

• Basics, such as blueprint reading and applied mathematics

• Proper shop safety procedures

While WIRE-Net is not currently operating any training programs, we are constantly exploring opportunities to partner with educational institutions and will post updates on these partnerships as they are developed.   We are involved with an exciting new project in conjunction with the Power Transmission Distribution Association and Cuyahoga Community College.  You can read about it here. 

Once training is completed, WIRE-Net will assist individuals with a job search through our  WorkSource program.
