Board of Directors

The composition of WIRE-Net’s Board of Directors is as follows:

• The Executive Directors of each sponsoring CDC (five maximum);
• Five Directors elected at-large from the WIRE-Net membership by our full members;
• Five Directors appointed by the Board.

In addition to the Board, several committees provide valuable guidance and support to the staff, and help implement programs when appropriate.

Executive Committee: Greg Tilton Chairman. Staff liaison:  John Colm

The Executive Committee provides direction for the organization between meetings of the full Board.

Membership Committee: Bob Miller, Chair, Ohio Displays. Staff liaison:  Jacki Adams

The Membership Committee supports the member retention, member-to-member mixers and new member recruitment efforts of the organization, and meets as needed.

Finance Committee: Rolly Standish, Treasurer. Staff liaison:  John Tubbs

The Finance Committee represents the Board and provides financial oversight of WIRE-Net’s finances, ensuring that funds are used to support the mission, and that commitments to funders are honored.

Fund Development Committee: Renee Vittardi, Chair. Staff liaison: Pamela Holmes

Provides leadership and volunteer energy for the Annual Fund Campaign and Special Celebration Event. The goal for 2007 is $180,000.

Program Committees provide direction, oversight and serve as potential “beta test sites” for new initiatives. Active committees and their leadership include:

Manufacturing Assistance and Employment & Training: Chair - Tom Schumann, Kitzel & Sons. This committee helps identify new programs and services to assist company leaders to improve their operations, sales, product development and profits, including oversight of the Manufacturing Innovation for the Next Decade (MIND) project. It also supports WIRE-Net’s adult training, school-to-career and human resource management programs. Staff liaisons: Ty Haines and Rebecca Kusner

Redevelopment:  Chair - Don Dzurec, Dairymens.  This committee oversees WIRE-Net's site assembly, redevelopment and infrastructure investment projects.  Staff liaison:  Michael Hoag
