About Our Speaker
Dave has over 16 years of manufacturing experience from Fortune 500 companies to smaller, more entrepreneurial enterprises. He started in Avery Dennison's Financial Leadership Development program in 2000 where he learned cost accounting, financial analysis, and capital justification. He moved on to roles in product management, outside sales, business development, and led cross functional teams globally. He served on the North American Leadership team for the $100MM Performance Tapes division and had profitability responsibility for 60% of the business. After Avery, he moved on to run Commercial Operations for Chemsultants, a family owned 35-person enterprise specializing in adhesive testing and consulting. There, he implemented marketing programs to shift the business from a referral based, traditional consultancy model to a contract development and niche manufacturing company for Fortune 500 companies. Since April 2016, he runs day to day operations for PACE Converting Equipment Company, a Cleveland based Manufacturer with 10 employees and 3 sales representatives.
Dave graduated from John Carroll University with a Bachelor's in finance and has an MBA from the Weatherhead School of Business at Case Western Reserve University.
