Plant Tour Series
WIRE-Net Plant Tours, presented by Sikich, formerly BCG & Company, offer participants a unique opportunity to see successful local manufacturing facilities and learn firsthand about what they're doing right. Each tour focuses on a quality that sets the company apart.
Plant Tour: The Technology House
From Rapid Prototyping to Additive Manufacturing
The Technology House (TTH) started in 1996 as one of the first Rapid Prototyping service bureau, years before 3D printing or Additive Manufacturing became popular with the masses. Over the next 20 years, TTH evolved into a full-service contract manufacturer with the ability to take an idea from design to prototype to final product all under one roof with their sister production company Sea Air Space Machining & Molding, which is ISO certified in Aerospace and Medical.
In helping to bridge the gap from prototype to production, TTH became a beta-site for a brand new Additive Manufacturing technology from Carbon called CLIP. Carbon's CLIP technology is pushing the industry closer to Rapid Manufacturing with printing isotropic parts in engineering grade polyurethane materials. TTH continues to push manufacturing forward with machines like this making complex final production parts without restrictions from design.
TTH is able to support full projects using multiple advanced manufacturing technologies, used across all industries from Medical and Aerospace to Consumer Goods and Industrial Equipment.
