People and technology have come together to make the Rockwell Automation plant in Twinsburg, Ohio the Plant Engineering 2017 Top Plant recipient. Join us for a tour of this outstanding facility to see first-hand their journey toward the Connected Enterprise, which integrates information from the plant floor across the enterprise to error-proof their process and optimize efficiency and quality, plant and supply network performance, and business agility.

The Twinsburg manufacturing plant was opened in 1979 and currently has approximately 300 manufacturing associates. The plant produces standard automation products, such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electronic operator interfaces (EOI), input/output (I/O) Devices, and on-machine products.

The plant has embraced the Industrial Internet of Things (IIot), leveraging a highly integrated Manufacturing Execution system (FTPC – Factory Talk Production Centre) to help optimize the manufacturing process, reduce defects, and improve productivity.
