WIRE-Net Honors Cleveland Business Leaders at Annual Meeting
At its 21st Annual Meeting, held at Windows on the River on June 24th, WIRE-Net announced a new slate of officers and four new appointees to
its Board of Directors. Thomas Schumann, General Manager of E.C. Kitzel & Sons, Inc., will provide leadership as Chairman of the Board. Other
officers are Vice Chairman, Mark Dawson, The Cleveland Steel Tool Company; Treasurer, Scott Bogard, The Riverside Company; and Secretary,
Chuck Mintz, retired, Superior Tool. The new members at large are Fred Corpus, Vice President, Foseco Metallurgical Inc.; Mark Dawson, President,
The Cleveland Steel Tool Company; Gretchen Farrell, HR Director, Lincoln Electric; and Jim Zahora, Vice President, Process Equipment Company.
Outgoing Board Chairman Greg Tilton, Senior Vice President, US Cotton LLC was on hand to welcome the new members. Tilton’s company was also
one of four recipients of WIRE-Net’s Annual Mission Builder Award. The award recognizes business and community leaders who demonstrate, through
their work and results, their commitment to WIRE-Net’s mission and their longstanding and extraordinary contribution to strengthening manufacturing
in Northeast Ohio. Other winners were Horsburgh & Scott Co., Sea Air Space Machining & Molding, LLC, and Shoreline Machine Products, Inc.
