Role with WIRE-Net

Anne's role keeps her involved with all progams and initiatives of the organization. She is responsible for maintenance of WIRE-Net’s website, contact management database, & computer network; she provides hardware & software support; she sends all electronic communications; and manages the administrative team.  She is the point of contact for event enrollments and website questions.  Anne also provides some technical advice directly to members who do not have internal IT departments.  

Background

Anne came to WIRE-Net in January 2002 after serving as Operations Manager for New Horizons Computer Learning Center.  There she was the liaison between the sales floor and operations staff, responsible for scheduling resources and managing the customer service, instructor, and information technology departments.  At the beginning of her tenure with New Horizons, she served as an instructor teaching courses on Microsoft Office products.  She graduated from Allegheny College in 1993 with a BA in Psychology and the Russian language.  Anne is the leader of her daughter's Girl Scout troop, a board member & Budget Manager for the Oberlin Weekday Hot Meals Program, and choir member & Moderator of the First Church in Oberlin, United Church of Christ.
