Role with WIRE-Net
Erica joined WIRE-Net in June 2006 and is the Manager of WIRE-Net’s youth programs. WIRE-Net’s youth programs serves youth between the ages of 13-21. While teaching youth the soft skills they need to be successful on the job our youth programs also provide students with opportunities and experiences to learn more about exciting careers in manufacturing.

Background
Erica has experience in both non-profit and for-profit sectors. While working in non-profit, she has worked with older youth and adults on identifying barriers to employment, linking them with supportive services and resources in the community, interview coaching, and assisting them with a plan to meet their career objectives. In addition to working with job-seekers, Erica has worked with employers on identifying their workforce needs, recruiting & interviewing job candidates, and linking them to workforce-related resources to enhance their human resource efforts. Erica consults individuals on their soft skills, interviewing, and image for their personal and professional objectives. She also works with employees on incorporating their employer’s “brand” by coaching them on their workplace attire, soft skills, and public relations.
